Bob Heater

For over a quarter of century, Northwest Missouri listeners were glued to their radios for the talents of BOB HEATER.

This Missouri Music Hall of Fame Class of 2013 inductee began his broadcasting career in St. Joseph, Missouri at Benton High School in 1973, soon jumping into the professional realm as “Dave Night” at KKJO in St. Joseph.

After a brief stint in the 80’s in the Kansas City market, this talent returned to the Midland Empire airwaves with his own style and namesake, “Bob Heater”.  After his departure from radio in 2002, his diverse skills and easy-going persona lead him to the realm of broadcast television as the producer, nightly news anchor and reporter for Fox Television affiliate, KNPN, in St. Joseph, Missouri.

For his continued dedication to the promotion of the arts and music education, spanning over four decades: Bob Heater was inducted on August 30, 2013.
